Within the first week, every client receives an Individual Development Plan, created in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team. This plan is informed by various assessments, personal history, current circumstances, and the individual’s goals for recovery.

We provide ongoing support through Step-Down, AfterCare, and Extended Treatment options to provide the best chances for long-term recovery. Family consultations, conjoint sessions, and education are an essential part of our therapy process, helping loved ones form strong and sustainable support networks.

We primarily treat drug addiction and alcoholism. However, we also address co-occurring issues and disorders such as sex and love addiction, gambling, eating, and other process and behavioural disorders. Our professional team adjusts therapy programmes to treat these challenges concurrently for holistic recovery.
Yes. New Journey Treatment Centre is fully registered with the Department of Social Development (DSD) and licensed with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), ensuring that our care meets professional and ethical standards.
Our centre is zoned and certified to accommodate up to 14 inpatients. However, we intentionally limit this number to a maximum of between 10 to 12 clients at a time. This ensures that each individual receives personalised attention, adequate space, and focused care throughout their treatment term.
